Rescued from a Container

The original maps were nearly thrown out after being discovered in an old shipping container in Canada. Luckily, an engineer recognized their value and held onto them—preserving a unique piece of mining history.

Restored with Care

Many of the maps had water damage, mold, and heavy creases. Each one was carefully enhanced using Photoshop to bring out the original detail while preserving the character of the originals.

Our Story

Giving Back Statement

At Boom Town Maps, we believe in the power of community and the importance of preserving the stories that shape it. Mountain towns often have a rich, yet overlooked history—one that is deeply intertwined with the development of the region, the lives of early settlers, and the culture that continues to thrive today. Sadly, this history is sometimes forgotten or not given the attention it deserves.

That's why we are committed to giving back. 20% of our profits are donated to local non-profits focused on preserving and celebrating the unique histories of our mountain towns. Whether it’s through historical preservation, educational initiatives, or community projects, we strive to support those who are working to keep the past alive and ensure that future generations understand the cultural and historical significance of our local heritage.

At Boom Town Maps, we recognize the value in every story and are proud to help safeguard the legacy of our mountain communities for years to come.
